So for example, if you live in Alabama the tax rate is 2% so you will pay 2% taxes to us and we will give you an out of state sales tax credit form that you take with you to the DMV showing that you have already paid your state taxes of 2% (or whatever your state tax rate is). You will be responsible for any county or city surtaxes (usually .5% or 1%), we just collect state taxes because Florida is reciprocal with 47 of the 50 States. Please call us to see if your state is reciprocal with Florida and also to see what your state sales tax rate is (some states have 0 sales tax rate, but you must be registering the vehicle in that state). We ONLY COLLECT TAXES if you are coming to pick up the vehicle, if you ship the vehicle we DO NOT collect your taxes.
